In the Benelux Herfurth Logistics is acting as independent customs broker and provides services such as :
- clearing of cargoes through on-line connection with Customs Authorities (in Belgium via Sadbel and in the Netherlands via Sagitta)
- transferring VAT to consignees in other EU countries as limited fiscal representatives
- issuing T1-documents for transit cargoes
- issuing export documents, including documents for restitution cargoes (T5-documents) or excise goods (AAD)
- submitting documents and organising the veterinary controls at EU borders
- consulting activities based on a extensive knowledge of customs regulations & tariffs
- providing assistance with applications for import licenses.
